After sweeping rival Miami on the road – on top of three wins against Marshall and two against Jacksonville – Florida has been named the initial CollegeBaseballInsider.com Team of the Week for 2020.

As in years past, the first CBI Team of the Week is released after the first two weekends of the season. The Gators opened their season with a weekend sweep of Marshall and won a home-and-home with Jacksonville before sweeping the fourth-ranked Hurricanes in Miami. Florida jumped from No. 9 to No. 1 in the latest CBI Composite Poll.
