OMAHA, Neb. – Due to inclement weather in the Omaha area, Wednesday’s Championship Series Game 3 of the 2016 College World Series between Arizona and Coastal Carolina has been postponed.

The game has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 30 at 12 noon CT.

Officials waited two and a half hours before announcing the postponement. There was not a lot of rain at TD Ameritrade Park, but there were multiple lightning strikes in the area.

Each team has won once in the Championship Series. The winner of Thursday’s game will win the 2016 national championship.
