Sean: Vanderbilt avoids a scare from St. John’s and ultimate unseats Clemson.

Phil: The Tigers protect the home turf and outlast the Commodores, Red Storm & Spartans.

Stanford

Sean: The magical ride for Mark Marquess continues into the Super Regional round.

Phil: Stanford uses the biggest intangible of the tournament in Mark Marquess to win its regional.

Long Beach

Sean: It isn’t easy, but the Dirtbags slip through, knocking off Texas in the end.

Phil: The Dirtbags are tested, but have enough to play another weekend.

Baton Rouge

Sean: LSU moves on thanks to premium pitching and timely hitting.

Phil: The home Tigers take care of business at The Box.

Hattiesburg

Sean: Mississippi State puts it together in a knock-down, drag out Regional, topping Southern Miss in the “if” game.

Phil: The Golden Eagles pull out a tough regional win at home.

Lubbock

Sean: Texas Tech gets it done. Barely, as Arizona makes things tough.

Phil: Arizona knows what it takes to win in June and escapes with another regional title.

Tallahassee

Sean: UCF’s pitching depth helps the Knights sneak past FSU.

Phil: The Knights knock off the Noles in Tallahassee.

Chapel Hill

Sean: Michigan makes a run, but North Carolina lives another day.

Phil: The Tar Heels roll through to host a Super Regional.

Houston

Sean: Houston takes some shots, but moves on by beating Texas A&M.

Phil: The Aggie arms pull the upset in Houston

Louisville

Sean: With no Left Coast team in town, Louisville advances by eliminating Oklahoma.

Phil: The Cardinals cruise to a Regional crown.

Lexington

Sean: Kentucky’s moxie and mojo is enough to hold off NC State.

Phil: The Wildcats work to win on their home field.

Gainesville

Sean: Florida rolls on, getting past USF to advance.

Phil: The Gators get past the Bulls to play on.

Winston-Salem

Sean: Flip a coin, as any of the Top 3 could advance. WVU gets close, but homestanding Wake survives.

Phil: The Mountaineers use that Big 12 experience to win in Winston-Salem.

Fort Worth

Sean: TCU and Virginia get to know each other very well. The Frogs advance.

Phil: The Cavalier bats handle the TCU arms to win the Regional.

Fayetteville

Sean: Oklahoma State puts a scare into Arkansas in the end, but the Hogs keep playing.

Phil: Each game should be a battle, but the homestanding Hogs hold on to survive.
