California, making its second significant road trip of the season, became the first team to sweep a four-game series at Texas and is the CollegeBaseballInsider.com National Team of the Week for games played Feb. 29-March 6. The Golden Bears trailed by seven runs with two outs in the eighth inning of the final game before rallying to complete the sweep.

NC State went 5-0 with wins over UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, Niagara, Alabama and Bucknell

Cal Poly knocked off Pepperdine before sweeping three games from San Francisco

Longwood had a 5-0 week with wins against state rivals VCU and VMI before taking three from Fairleigh Dickinson

Georgia Tech stayed perfect with four wins, topping Georgia State once and sweeping Western Carolina

Florida A&M went 4-1, splitting a two-game series with Mercer and sweeping three games against Western Michigan

Kent State went on the road and picked up a three-game sweep of Charlotte

BYU continued its fast start with a three-game sweep at Kansas

Florida won a home-and-home with UCF and then beat Dartmouth three times in a 5-0 week

McNeese State went 3-1 with a win over Louisiana-Lafayette and winning its series with Bradley

Dallas Baptist went 4-0 with a win over Texas Southern and a three-game sweep at New Mexico when it scored 50 runs (33 in one game)
