Texas A&M 7, Davidson 6 (15) (TAMU leads 1-0)
George Janca delivered an RBI single with two away in the bottom of the 15th as TAMU outlasted DC. Braden Shewmake (3 for 7, 3 R, RBI) drew a leadoff walk in the 15th and Hunter Coleman (3 for 8, HR, 2 RBI) singled to right after being unsuccessful in laying down a sacrifice bunt. Blake Kopetsky bunted back to the mound and the throw to third was late, loading the bases with none out. A pair of popouts did not allow the runners to advance. Janca singled through the right side, plating Shewmake with the winning run. The Aggies (40-21) scored in four of the first five innings in building a 6-0 lead. Nick Choruby went 3 for 6 with two doubles and two RBI for the victors. The Wildcats (35-25) tallied three in the sixth and two in the seventh to pull within one. In the top of the ninth, Brett Centracchio drew a leadoff walk, was sacrificed to second by Max Bazin (4 for 5, R) and came home on a base hit by Cam Johnson (4 for 8, 2 2B, 3 RBI) to level the score at 6-6. John Doxakis fanned the final batter in the top of the 15th to pick up the win. Mitchell Kilkenny pitch 5.2 innings in relief with six hits, one walk and nine strikeouts.

#1 Oregon State 8, Vanderbilt 4 (OSU leads 1-0)
KJ Harrison belted a three-run homer in the first and Nick Madrigal added a two-run double in the second to put OSU on top for good against VU. After the Beavers went up 3-0 in the first, Jason Delay (3 for 4) had a two-run double in a three-run second as the Commodores tied the game at 3-3. Madrigal’s double gave the home team a 5-3 advantage. Trevor Larnach had an RBI single in the fifth as OSU took a 6-3 lead. Will Toffey (2 for 5, 2 RBI) homered in the seventh as VU pulled back within two at 6-4. The Beavers added a pair in the eighth as Cadyn Greiner had a run-scoring single and Steven Kwan belted a sacrifice fly to give OSU an 8-4 lead. The Commodores put their first two on in the ninth, but could not score as the game ended 8-4. Jake Thompson (7.2 IP, 7 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 7 K) recorded the victory.
