Connor Hujsak went 2 for 4 with two solo homers, and Cooper Benzin drove in two with a double down the left-field line to lead VCU past North Carolina in the winners’ bracket. The Rams (42-18) won for the 17th straight time but had to hold on for dear life in the top of the ninth as Danny Serretti hit a two-run homer, and the Tar Heels (38-20) put two runners on with two outs before Nolan Wilson got the last out. UNC and Georgia will meet for the right to face VCU.

Josh McCallister went 4 for 6 with two homers, four runs and five RBI as Georgia launched seven homers in routing Hofstra. Parks Harber went 3 for 6 with a homer and four RBI, and Cory Acton (2 for 5, 3 R) and Connor Tate (1 for 3, 2 R) each homered and drove in three. The Bulldogs (36-22) scored 13 times in the third inning to take control, and Liam Sullivan allowed one run and struck out eight in seven innings. Ryan Morash went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Pride (30-22).

Stanford Regional

Jose Gonzalez homered twice to lead TSU past Stanford. Gonzalez went deep in the first and again in the fourth. Wesley Faison added a two-run dinger in the fourth for the Bobcats (47-12). Levi Wells (8-2, 7.0 IP, 8 H, 2 R, BB, 6 K) earned the win, while Tristan Stivers tossed two scoreless innings with five strikeouts to record his 18th save. Tommy Troy went 3 for 4 with two doubles and one RBI for the Cardinal (42-15).

Blake Kassen went 2 for 5 with a homer and three RBI as UCSB scored three runs in the second and five more in the third to win an elimination game with Binghamton. Kyle Johnson homered and drove in two, and Michael Gutierrez struck out eight and allowed four runs in seven innings for the Gauchos (44-12). Nick Roselli went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI for the Bearcats (22-29).

Hattiesburg Regional

LSU scored four in the bottom of the ninth and the game-winner an inning later to edge Southern Miss. Dylan Crews had a dinger with one away in the ninth for the Tigers (40-20). With two outs and none on, Josh Pearson singled and Cade Doughty belted a homer on a 2-2 count to make it 6-5. Tre’ Morgan was plunked, pinch-runner Drew Bianco stole second and scored on a single by Jordan Thompson to level the score at 6-6. Josh Stevenson was hit by a pitch and scored the game-winner on a fielder’s choice. Christopher Sargent had three hits, including a homer, and scored three times for the Golden Eagles (44-17).

Josh Hatcher homered twice and knocked in three as KSU nipped Army. Hatcher had a solo homer in the third that tied the game at 1-1. His two-run shot sparked a four-run fifth for the Owls (36-27). Sam Ruta had a double and a homer with two runs, while Cam Cerruto doubled and knocked in three for the Black Knights (31-25).

Auburn Regional
No. 1 Auburn 21, No. 3 Florida State 7
No. 2 UCLA 16, No. 4 Southeastern Louisiana 2 (SELA eliminated)

Brody Moore reached base safely seven times, going 5 for 5 with a double, a triple, two walks, four runs and five RBI as Auburn defeated FSU. Kason Howell had four hits, including three doubles, with two runs and one RBI for the Tigers (39-19). Treyton Rank homered and knocked in four for the Seminoles (34-24).

Cody Schrier and Jake Palmer drove in three runs apiece, and Darrius Perry went 4 for 4 with two runs and two RBI to lead UCLA past Southeastern Louisiana. The Bruins (39-23) scored in six of nine innings and got a big day from Carson Yates, who went 3 for 6 with a homer, three runs and two RBI. Evan Keller and TJ Salvaggio drove in runs for SELA (30-30).

Austin Regional
No. 1 Texas 5, No. 2 Louisiana Tech 2
No. 4 Air Force 5, No. 3 DBU 1 (DBU eliminated)

Lucas Gordon (5.1 IP) and Tristan Stevens (3.2) bent, allowing 13 hits, but didn’t break in holding Louisiana Tech to two runs as Texas moved to the Regional final with a winners’ bracket win. The Longhorns (43-19) had 11 hits of their own, with Ivan Melendez delivering two hits and an RBI and Dylan Campbell adding a solo homer. Texas scored three times in the bottom of the seventh to take control. Ryan Jennings allowed one earned run and three hits in six strong innings for the Bulldogs (42-20).  

Doyle Gehring allowed one run over seven innings as AF downed DBU. Gehring (4-3) gave up three hits with two walks and seven strikeouts. CJ Dornak retired the final six batters to secure the win. Paul Skenes had two hits, including a homer, and knocked in two for the Falcons (31-28). Luke Heefner went 1 for 2 with one RBI for the Patriots (34-24-1).

Blacksburg Regional
No. 1 Virginia Tech 24, No. 3 Columbia 4
No. 2 Gonzaga 11, No. 4 Wright State 9 (WSU eliminated)

VT used a 14-run fourth to roll past Columbia. Tanner Schobel (3 for 4, 2 BB, 3 R) had a three-run double to start the scoring in the fourth. Jack Hurley (3 for 6, 2 R, 3 RBI) had a pair of run-scoring singles in the fourth, and Carson DeMartini added a bases-clearing triple for the Hokies (43-12). Austin Mowrey went 3 for 4 with a double for the Lions (31-17).

Savier Pinales went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI as Gonzaga rallied from a 9-4 deficit to eliminate Wright State. Ezra Samperi (2 for 3, 2 R) and Tyler Rando (2 for 6) each drove in two runs for the Bulldogs (37-18), who scored four times in the seventh to overcome the Raiders (30-26). Owen Wild tossed 6.1 scoreless innings with three hits, six walks and seven strikeouts for Gonzaga. Zane Harris homered and drove in four, and Andrew Patrick homered and drove in three for Wright State.

College Park Regional

Pat Gallagher yielded two earned runs over seven innings, and Matt Donlan’s three-run homer in the seventh helped Connecticut break from a 3-2 game as the Huskies won their winners’ bracket game against Maryland. Erik Stock went 2 for 3 with a solo homer and four runs, and Zach Bushling hit a two-run homer for UConn (48-13), which added four runs in the eighth. Ian Petrutz went 2 for 4 with a homer and four RBI for the Terrapins (45-13), who face Wake Forest Sunday.

Brendan Tinsman went 3 for 5 with a homer and three RBI, and Tommy Hawke went 4 for 5 with two runs and an RBI to help Wake Forest eliminate LIU. Michael Turconi had two hits, including a homer, and two RBI, and Pierce Bennett added two hits and two RBI for the Demon Deacons (41-18). Josh Hartle allowed three hits and one earned run over seven innings for Wake. Jack Power hit a late two-run homer for LIU (37-20).

College Station Regional

Brett Minnich had three hits and three RBI as TAMU topped ULL. Jack Moss had four hits and two runs, while Austin Bost (2 H, 2 RBI) and Kole Kaler both homered for the Aggies (39-18). Heath Hood had two hits and knocked in four for the Ragin’ Cajuns (37-22).

Brayden Taylor and Kurtis Byrne had back-to-back home runs in the sixth to snap a 1-1 deadlock as TCU topped ORU. Garrett Wright worked the final 2.2 innings with no hits or runs, two walks and four strikeouts to record his fifth save for the Horned Frogs (37-21). Jake McMurray had two hits and a run for the Golden Eagles (38-20).

Coral Gables Regional
No. 1 Miami 11, No. 4 Canisius 6

Yohandy Morales went 4 for 4 with three home runs, four runs and five RBI as Miami scored four runs in the seventh to break a 4-4 tie and added three more in the eighth to pull away from Canisius. Zach Levenson and Dorian Gonzalez Jr. each had two hits and two RBI for the Hurricanes (40-18), whose opener came a day late because of rain. Mike Steffan had three hits and two RBI, and Mike Destefano contributed three hits and two runs for the Golden Griffins (29-24).

Peyton Chatagnier had a two-run homer in the seventh to tie the game at 4-4 and a two-run double an inning later for the lead as Ole Miss rallied past Arizona in their regional opener. Jacob Gonzalez had a two-run homer in the fourth for the Rebels (33-22). Dylan DeLucia fanned 12 in 6.0 innings for Ole Miss. Josh Mallitz (1-0, 2 IP, H, 5 K) earned the win in relief, while Brandon Johnson struck out three in the ninth to notch his 10th save. Tony Bullard had a two-run double, while Chase Davis and Garen Caulfield both went deep for the Wildcats (37-24).

Corvallis Regional

OSU put up multiple runs in each of the first three innings in rolling past USD. Garret Forrester went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, while Wade Meckler had three hits and three runs for the Beavers (46-15). Jake Pfennigs (4-0, 5.1 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 BB, 3 K) recorded the win, while Brock Townsend worked 3.2 scoreless innings with one hit and five strikeouts to earn his first save. Angelo Peraza homered and scored twice for the Toreros (37-19).

Spencer Jones went 4 for 6 with two doubles, a homer, four runs and seven RBI as Vandy downed NMSU. Dominic Keegan homered and knocked in four, while Enrique Bradfield, Jr. had three hits and four runs for the Commodores (37-22). Kevin Jimenez went 1 for 3 with a walk and one RBI for the Aggies (24-34).

Gainesville Regional

Jimmy Crooks had a double, two homers and three RBI as OU beat UF. Peyton Graham (2 for 5, 2 RBI) and Blake Robertson also went deep for the Sooners (39-20). Ty Evans, Jac Caglianone and Mac Guscette all homered for the Gators (40-23).

Danny Wuestenfeld delivered a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 12th as CMU outlasted LU. Adam Mrakitsch (7-1, 6.0 IP, 2 H, R, 2 BB, 3 K) earned the win in relief of Jordan Patty (6.0 IP, 3 H, UE, 5 BB, 7 K) for the Chippewas (43-18). Three Hillier went 2 for 5 with a double and a run for the Flames (37-23).

Greenville Regional

Josh Moylan ripped a two-run homer, and Justin Wilcoxen added a solo shot to help East Carolina slip past Virginia in a winners’ bracket game. C.J. Mayhue turned in five innings of one-run ball, and relivers Garrett Saylor, Carter Spivey and Zach Agnos, who came in from shortstop, made big pitches for the Pirates, who improved to 43-18 with their 20th straight win, in the late innings and combined to strike out six to hold off the Cavaliers (38-18). Chris Newell had a solo homer for Virginia, which will meet Coastal Carolina Sunday.

Matt McDermott hit for the cycle as CCU outscored CSU. McDermott singled in the third, doubled in the fourth, belted a solo homer in the sixth and added a two-run triple in the seventh that gave the Chanticleers (37-19-1) a 10-2 advantage. Brian Nicolas had a two-run homer in the second and Josh Hankins launched a three-run dinger to cap a six-run ninth for the Eagles (24-30).

Knoxville Regional

Jorel Ortega had three hits, including a homer, two runs and three RBI as UT erased an early deficit against CU. Drew Gilbert had a double and a dinger with three runs and three RBI for the Volunteers (55-7), who set a program record for wins in a season. Jarrod Belbin had a two-run homer to spark a four-run fourth for the Camels (41-18).

Tres Gonzalez went 2 for 3 with a homer, three runs and four RBI, and Chandler Simpson went 4 for 5 with four runs and an RBI as Georgia Tech eliminated Alabama State. The Yellow Jackets (35-23) blew the game open with three runs in the third and four more in the fourth inning. Tim Borden II had his second straight big game, with two hits and three RBI, and Andrew Jenkins added two hits, a homer and three RBI to support Chance Huff (7 IP, 3 ER, 8 K). Chris Lewis had two RBI for the Hornets (34-24).

Louisville Regional
No. 3 Michigan 7, No. 1 Louisville 3

Joe Stewart went 3 for 5 with a solo homer and two runs, and Clark Elliott hit a two-run homer as Michigan stayed hot and knocked off Louisville in the winners’ bracket. The Wolverines (34-26) used five pitchers – none more than 2.2 innings – and limited the Cardinals (38-19) to single runs in three innings. Logan Beard had two hits and two runs for Louisville, which meets Oregon next.

Sam Novitske had three hits and four RBI as Oregon blitzed SEMO. Novitske’s two-run double sparked a seven-run second for the victors. Brennan Milone went 5 for 6 with a homer, three runs and two RBI for the Ducks (36-24). Brett Graber had a homer and a sacrifice fly for the Redhawks (37-22).

Statesboro Regional

Ty Fisher tossed a four-hit shutout with six strikeouts as GSU blanked UNCG. Fisher (6-2) walked one and threw 110 pitches in recording the program’s first complete game since 2018. Fisher did not allow a base runner until the sixth and did not surrender a hit until the seventh. Christian Avant knocked in three for the Eagles (41-18) with a sacrifice fly in the first to start the scoring and a two-run single in a four-run fifth. Sam Biancato and JP Tighe both had two doubles, one run and one RBI. Pres Cavenaugh had two hits for the Spartans (34-29).

Brandon Birdsell and two relivers combined on the six-hit shutout as TTU edged UNCG. Birdsell (9-3) allowed five hits and two walks in 7.0 innings with four strikeouts to pick up the win. Andrew Devine fanned two in 1.1 innings, while Derek Bridges got the final two outs to record his first save for the Red Raiders (38-20). Dillon Carter scored on a wild pitch in the top of the eighth to break the scoreless tie. Jace Jung went to third on the wild pitch and came home on an errant throw. Greg Hardison had two hits for the Spartans (34-30).

ND tied it with two in the sixth and took the lead with a pair in the seventh in nipping GSU. Zack Prajzner had a two-run homer in the sixth for the Irish (37-14) to create a 4-4 deadlock. He and Jack Penney were hit by pitches with the bases loaded in the seventh to put ND on top. Jack Findlay pitched two perfect innings with four strikeouts to notch his first save. Noah Ledford went 3 for 4 with a homer and two runs for the Eagles (41-19).

Stillwater Regional

Jalen Battles had a grand slam to highlight an eight-run eight as Arkansas outscored OSU. Robert Moore homered twice, scored four and knocked in four as the Razorbacks (40-18) matched a season high with eight dingers. Arkansas trailed 10-5 before plating three in the seventh, eight in the eighth and four more in the ninth. Roc Riggio went 4 for 5 with a double, a homer, two runs and five RBI for the Cowboys (40-21).

MSU scored two in the eighth and five in the ninth to rally past GCU. Drake Baldwin belted a two-run homer in the eighth before Spencer Nivens had a three-run dinger in the ninth and Mason Hull added a two-run shot later in the ninth to put the Bears (31-28) up 8-7. Jake McMahil (2-1, 4.2 IP, 3 H, R, 2 BB, 8 K) earned the win after tossing a scoreless ninth to end the contest. Taylor Aguilar homered twice and drove in four for the Lopes (41-21).
