Alex Faedo (12-1, 7 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K) went the distance as UF run-ruled MSU. JJ Schwarz (4 for 5, 4 RBI) was a homer short of the cycle for the Gators (46-12). Nathaniel Lowe went 2 for 4 with a double, one run and one RBI for the Bulldogs (41-16-1).

America East (Lowell, Mass.)

Jason Agresti had a grand slam to cap a nine-run bottom of the ninth as Binghamton shocked Hartford to advance to the championship game. Agresti scored twice in the ninth for the Bearcats (29-23). Aaron Wilson homered and drove in three for the Hawks (37-17). Sam McKay tossed seven scoreless innings with seven hits and two strikeouts for Hartford.

Johnny Caputo (3 for 5, 2 RBI) homered and scored three as Stony Brook stymied Albany. Andruw Gazzola had two hits and two RBI for the Seawolves (26-26). Karson Canaday had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for the Great Danes (23-30).

Jeremy Giles singled in the game-winning run as Stony Brook stunned and eliminated Hartford with two runs in a nightmarish inning for the Hawks. After a single to open the inning, Hartford made consecutive errors on sacrifice bunts, the second of which allowed the tying run to score and set up Giles. The Seawolves (27-26) advance to meet Binghamton, which hasn’t lost in the double-elimination tourney, in the final. Hartford (37-18), with an RPI of 65, puts its fate in the hands of the NCAA Tournament committee.

ACC (Durham, N.C.)

Reed Rohlman homered twice and Clate Schmidt pitched into the ninth as Clemson edged Louisville to move to 2-0 in pool play. Schmidt (8-4) worked 8.2 innings with eight hits, two earned runs, one walk and six strikeouts for the Tigers (40-18). Pat Krall recorded the final out for his fifth save. Danny Rosenbaum and Colin Lyman both had two hits and one RBI for the Cardinals (47-11), who had their 10-game win streak snapped.

Will Craig (3 for 4, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Kevin Conway (2 for 3, 3 RBI) hit two of their team’s five homers as WFU (34-24) outscored UVa to keep alive its chances of winning Pool B. Adam Haseley (3 for 5) tripled twice and knocked in three for the Cavaliers (36-20).

Brock Deatherage launched a two-run homer in the top of the 12th inning as NC State rallied to beat Georgia Tech. The Wolfpack trailed 5-3 in the ninth inning, but a dropped fly ball with two outs enabled Stephen Pitarra to drive in two runs with a single to force extra innings. The Yellow Jackets (36-23) went 0-3 in pool play and may have put their NCAA Tournament hopes in jeopardy.

Alex Massey tossed eight scoreless innings as Tulane eliminated UCF. Massey (6-4) gave up two hits with three walks and seven strikeouts. Richard Carthon had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for the Green Wave (39-18). Kam Gellinger doubled for the Knights (26-33).

Atlantic 10 (Bronx, N.Y.)

Connor Foreman and Mike Corin both homered and knocked in three as URI (29-25) downed Davidson. Brian Fortier had a grand slam in the fifth for the Wildcats (27-25).

Deon Stafford Jr. (2 for 6, 3 R), Cal Jadacki (3 for 4, 2 R) and Matt Maul (2 for 5, 2 R) all homered and drove in three as Saint Joseph’s (31-22) eliminated VCU. Logan Farrar went deep in the first for the Rams (38-19).

Josh Smutzer tossed a career-best seven innings, and Jake Sidwell and Lee Miller each had three hits and a run as Davidson eliminated Saint Joseph’s to reach the championship, where the Wildcats (28-25) will need two wins against top-seeded Rhode Island to take home the title.

Austin Drury (2 H, 2 BB, 8 K) tossed eight scoreless innings, while Matthew Naylor (5-3, 1.1 IP, K) picked up the win for the Ospreys (39-17). Jeffrey Passantino (6-5, 9.2 IP, 6 H, R, BB, 6 K) was the tough-luck loser for the Bisons (31-26).

Kevin Fagan (2 for 4) had an RBI single to snap a 6-6 tie in the top of the eighth as Stetson edged UNF to advance to the championship game for the first time in 10 years. Cory Reid (3 for 4, 4 RBI) homered twice for the Hatters (28-29). Josh Thorne (3-2, 3.1 IP, 2 H, 2 K) earned the win, while Walker Sheller recorded the final out for his 11th save. Corbin Olmstead (3 for 5, R, RBI) had two doubles for the Ospreys (39-18).

Corey Fehribach had three hits and two runs as FGCU bounced Lipscomb. Matt Reardon and Jake Smith both had two hits, two runs and one RBI for the Eagles (26-31). Adam Lee (2 for 5, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Tevin Symonette (1 for 4, 2 RBI) both homered for the Bisons (31-27).

Daniel Rizzie had a three-run double to highlight a four-run fourth as Xavier beat Creighton to advance to the title game. Matt Fallon went 3 for 4 with a run for the Musketeers (29-28). Matt Gandy went 2 for 4 with one run and one RBI, while Kevin Connolly added a two-run triple in the sixth for the Bluejays (37-16).

Big South (Lexington, S.C.)

Coastal Carolina downed Longwood to reach the title game for the 19th time in the 27-year history of the Big South tourney. The Chanticleers (43-15) have won 13 Big South titles. Zach Remillard (3 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Seth Lancaster (2 for 4, 2 RBI) both homered for Coastal. Zack Hopeck (3-2, 5.1 IP, 4 H, R, K) picked up the win, while Bobby Holmes (3.2 IP, H) recorded his second save. Connar Bastaich (2 for 4) had a double and a homer for the Lancers (32-27).

Eric Grabowski had a grand slam, drove in six and earned the victory as Liberty defeated Radford to advance to the championship game. The Flames (31-27) built an 8-0 lead before the Highlanders (19-29) tied it in the eighth. LU scored in the bottom of the eighth to reclaim the lead. Grabowski (1-1) worked the final 1.1 innings with two walks and a strikeout to record the win. Shane Johnsonbaugh was a triple short of the cycle, going 3 for 4 with a homer, three runs and four RBI for RU.

Craig Nennig went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI for the Buckeyes (39-18). John Havird hurled eight scoreless innings with two hits and four strikeouts for OSU.

Brian Shaffer (8-3) tossed a two-hit shutout with eight strikeouts as Maryland blanked IU. Marty Costes had a two-run homer in the first for the Terrapins (30-26). Logan Sowers and Luke Miller both had hits for the Hoosiers (32-24).

After OSU took an 8-3 lead with seven in the sixth, UT answered with nine in the eighth to keep its season alive. Bret Boswell (2 for 3, 2 R, 3 RBI) had a two-run single and Kody Clemens capped the rally with a two-run triple for the Longhorns (24-31). J.R. Davis had two hits and two RBI for the Cowboys (36-20).

Steven Linkous went 4 for 5, with a double, two runs and one RBI, while Gavin Stupienski had two hits and two RBI for the Seahawks (39-15). Erven Roper went 1 for 4 with one RBI for the Cougars (31-25-1).

Dan Powers pitched a complete game as W&M downed NU. Powers (8-5) allowed seven hits and a run with one walk and six strikeouts. Josh Smith had a double and a triple with two RBI, while Cullen Large went 2 for 2 with two walks and two runs for the Tribe (26-29). Cam Hanley had two hits and a run for the Huskies (31-27).

Daulton Varsho went 1 for 3 with a walk and an RBI for the Panthers (32-25).

After scoring three in the seventh to knot the score at 7-7, Valpo plated five in the eighth to eliminate UWM. Nolan Lodden (2 for 3, 2B, 2 R) and Josh Clark (2B) both knocked in three for the Crusaders (30-27). Daulton Varsho (3 for 5) and Luke Meeteer (2 for 4) both had two RBI for the Panthers (32-26).

Dan Swain went 2 for 4 with three runs and three RBI as Siena (24-31) eliminated MC (24-31). Fabian Pena, the MAAC Rookie of the Year, had a double, a homer and three RBI for the Jaspers.

Brian Kelly had a two-run homer as Siena blanked Canisius to reach the title game for the fourth straight year. Chris Amorosi (4-5) tossed 7.2 scoreless innings with five hits, three walks and four strikeouts to earn the victory. Bryan Goossens fanned two of the final four batters to record his fourth save for the Saints (25-31). Anthony Massicci had three hits, including a double, for the Golden Griffins (32-27).

Andy Cheray allowed three runs over eight innings as Missouri State run-ruled Bradley. The teams will meet again on Saturday for a spot in the championship game. Cheray (2-2) scattered seven hits with three walks and eight strikeouts. Spencer Johnson (2 for 3, 2 BB, 3 R, 3 RBI) homered twice for the Bears (37-20). Paul Solka had two hits and two RBI for the Braves (29-20).

In the losers’ bracket, Nevada won twice, squeaking past San Diego State and then routing top-seeded Fresno State. In the second game, the Wolf Pack pounded out 27 hits – Justin Bridgman went 5 for 6 with two runs and four RBI, Jordan Pearce went 5 for 6 with four runs and two RBI and TJ Friedl had three hits, three runs and five RBI – and scored 12 runs in the eighth inning in eliminating the Bulldogs.

In the losers’ bracket game, Corey Zeller tossed 7.1 scoreless innings, and Bobby Romano had two hits and an RBI as Fairleigh Dickinson eliminated Central Connecticut State. Bryant awaits the winner of Sacred Heart and FDU in the championship round.

Joey Lucchessi (10-4), the OVC Pitcher of the Year, tossed a shutout with seven hits, three walks and six strikeouts as SEMO blanked MSU. Trevor Ezell went 2 for 4 with a double, a run and an RBI for the Redhawks (36-18). Niko Hulsizer and Braxton Morris both had two hits, including a double, for the Eagles (32-26).

Dylan King pitched eight scoreless frames as Belmont eliminated MSU. King (4-1) surrendered six hits with one walk and three punchouts. Chas Hadden (1 for 3, 2 BB, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Desi Ammons (2 for 4, 2 RBI) both homered for the Bruins (33-26). Reid Leonard went 2 for 3 with a walk for the Eagles (32-27).

Alex Lee delivered a game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning and also hit a three-run homer as Samford survived ETSU. Heath Quinn went 3 for 5 with two runs and four RBI (three hits and four RBI in the last four innings) as the Bulldogs (34-25) rallied from an 11-4 deficit with seven runs in the eighth and ninth innings. Robby McCabe had three RBI for the Bucs (27-30), who scored eight runs in the seventh inning. Samford advances to play Furman Saturday.

Griffin Davis went 3 for 5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI as Furman outscored UNCG. Brenn Conrad has a squeeze bunt to cap a three-run eighth as ULL erased a 2-0 deficit to rally past TSU. Stefan Trosclair had two hits and one RBI for the Ragin’ Cajuns (39-19). Earlier, in the losers’ bracket, New Mexico State stayed alive with wins over Bakersfield and Sacramento State. In the win over the Hornets, Greg Popylisen delivered a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth for the Aggies (34-22). The Hornets requested umpires check Popylisen’s bat, and after a short delay, umpires ruled the bat fine.

Ian McGloughlin went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and four RBI, and Anthony Villa went 4 for 5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as Saint Mary’s moved into the championship round. The Gaels (32-23) await the winner of Pepperdine/Gonzaga, where one of them will have to beat them twice. Johnny York tossed eight innings with nine hits and three earned runs for the Gaels. Dustin Breshears went 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Bulldogs (34-18).

In the losers’ bracket, Manny Jefferson ripped a three-run, first-inning homer to spark a five-run frame as Pepperdine (29-23) eliminated BYU (37-17). Ryan Wilson tossed a complete game with eight hits, one earned run and 11 strikeouts for the Waves.

Tyler Frost (4 for 5) smacked a game-winning homer in the bottom of the 10th, his second dinger of the game, as Gonzaga outlasted Pepperdine to reach the championship game. Wyatt Mills (2-1, 1.2 IP, H, R, BB, 2 K) picked up the win for the Bulldogs (35-18). Brad Anderson (2 for 5, 3 RBI) had a two-run homer in the ninth for the Waves (32-24) to force the extra frame.

Long Beach State 2, Cal State Fullerton 1

In Long Beach, Calif., Darren McCaughan allowed one run over 7.1 innings as Long Beach State edged Cal State Fullerton to keep its Big West title hopes alive. The teams conclude their series on Saturday. McCaughan (10-1) gave up six hits with one walk and three strikeouts. Austin McGeorge worked the final 1.2 scoreless innings with one strikeout to notch his fifth save. David Banuelos and Garrett Nelson both drove in runs in the sixth for the Dirtbags (15-8, 36-19). Scott Hurst went 2 for 4 with one RBI for the Titans (16-7, 34-21).

Washington 5, Utah 4

In Salt Lake City, Chris Baker delivered an RBI triple in the top of the ninth to snap a 4-4 tie as Washington moved into a first-place tie with Utah in the Pac-12 series opener. Baker had two hits and two RBI for the Huskies (17-11, 32-19). Andre Jackson had a three-run double in the sixth for the Utes (17-11, 23-27).
