Athens Regional – won by #3 Florida State

Reese Albert went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, and Conor Grady allowed one earned run in seven splendid innings as Florida State dominated Georgia for the second straight day to win the Athens Regional. The Seminoles (39-21) scored in double digits in each of the three games and advanced to their 17th Super Regional – they are two wins away from taking coach Mike Martin to the College World Series in his final year. Mike Salvatore went 2 for 3 with three runs and two RBI, and Drew Mendoza added two hits, two runs and an RBI for FSU. Tucker Maxwell went 2 for 4 with a solo homer for the Bulldogs (46-17).

Tim Elliott tossed a two-hit shutout as UGA blanked FAU in an elimination game. Elliott (7-3) did not walk a batter and struck out eight. Aaron Schunk homered twice and drove in six for the Bulldogs. Wilfredo Alvarez went 1 for 2 with a double for the Owls (41-21).

Atlanta Regional – won by #2 Auburn

#2 Auburn 4, #1 Georgia Tech 1 (GT eliminated)

#1 Georgia Tech 10, #3 Coastal Carolina 8 (CCU eliminated)

Steven Williams had a two-run double, and the combo of Bailey Horn and Cody Greenhill combined to allow three hits as Auburn reached the Super Regionals for the second straight year by eliminating Georgia Tech. Horn allowed two hits and struck out four in six scoreless innings that were separated by a long weather delay, and Greenhill allowed only a Tristin English homer. The Tigers took advantage of an outfield error on a pop fly in a three-run sixth and an infield error on a swinging bunt to get a big insurance run in the ninth. Rankin Woley went 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI, and Ryan Bliss added two hits and a run for the Tigers.

Kyle McCann knocked in five, including a bases-clearing triple in a five-run seventh, as GT rallied past CCU in an elimination contest. Luke Waddell had four hits and two runs, while Tristin English went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs and two RBI for the Yellow Jackets (43-18). Zach Biermann was 2 for 3 with two walks, two runs and two RBI for the Chanticleers (36-26-1).

Baton Rouge Regional – won by #1 LSU

Josh Smith went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBI, and Zach Watson added two RBI as LSU scored three runs in the seventh inning to eliminate Southern Miss and advance to the Super Regionals for the fourth time in five years. The Tigers will welcome Florida State and retiring coach Mike Martin, who rolled through the Athens Regional by beating Georgia twice. Antoine Duplantis had two hits, breaking the school mark with his 353rd career hit, and a run, and Saul Garza went 2 for 4 with an RBI for LSU. Gabe Montenegro went 2 for 3 with a solo homer, and Danny Lynch added two RBI for the Golden Eagles.

Southern Miss trailed 10-2 in the fifth inning and 12-6 in the eighth but won in dramatic fashion as Gabe Montenegro’s fifth hit, a two-run single to right, capped a four-run ninth inning as the Golden Eagles stunned Arizona State. Matthew Guidry homered and drove in four, and Bryant Bowen went 4 for 5 with a run and two RBI for Southern Miss. Spencer Torkelson went 3 for 5 with a homer, four runs and three RBI, and Alika Williams had two hits, two runs and three RBI for the Sun Devils.

Chapel Hill Regional – won by #1 North Carolina

#2 Tennessee 6, #3 Liberty 5 (10 innings) (LU eliminated)

Austin Bergner tossed eight innings with two earned runs and eight strikeouts, and Ashton McGee drove in a pair of runs as North Carolina reached the Super Regionals by beating Tennessee. Bergner (6-1) entered the game with a 5.48 ERA, and opponents were hitting .288 off of him. But, he yielded just four hits, and the Tar Heels (45-17) gave him four first-inning runs to work with. Alerick Soularie went 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI for the Volunteers (40-21).

Jake Rucker had an RBI single in the top of the 10th as UT nipped LU in an elimination game. The Flames (43-21) tied it with one in the bottom of the ninth and had the bases loaded and none out, but a lineout to first and a 1-2-3 double play forced the extra frame. Andre Lipcius went 3 for 5 with a homer and two runs for the Volunteers (40-20). Tyler Galazin had three hits and two RBI for LU.

Corvallis Regional

#2 Creighton 11, #3 Michigan 7 

#2 Creighton 6, #4 Cincinnati 1 (UC eliminated)

Jason Allbery had an RBI single to put Creighton ahead for good in a seven-run ninth to force a winner-take-all matchup on Monday. The Bluejays trailed 7-4 heading into the ninth before rallying to knock off the Wolverines. Will Hanafan (3 for 4, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI) had a two-run single to cap the ninth for Creighton. Jimmy Kerr homered twice and knocked in four for UM.

Ben Dotzler tossed seven innings with seven hits, one unearned run and six strikeouts, and Will Robertson gave him all the support he needed with two hits, including a three-run homer, and two runs as Creighton eliminated Cincinnati to reach the Regional final vs. Michigan. Jordan Hovey went 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI for the Bluejays. Cole Murphy went 2 for 4 with a run, and Jeremy Johnson added three hits for the Bearcats.

Fayetteville Regional – won by #1 Arkansas

#1 Arkansas 6, #3 TCU 0 (TCU eliminated)

Patrick Wicklander and two relievers combined on the five-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts as Arkansas blanked TCU to take the Fayetteville Regional title. Wicklander (6-2) allowed three hits and a walk in 5.0 innings with seven strikeouts. Cody Scroggins worked 2.2 innings with two hits and four punchouts. Jacob Kostyshock retired the final four batters, three by strikeout, to preserve the win. Matt Goodheart went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, while Dominic Fletcher and Jack Kenley both had two hits, including a double, and two RBI for the Razorbacks (44-17). Zach Humphreys had two hits, including a double, for the Horned Frogs (34-28).

Austin Henry went 2 for 5 with a homer and four RBI, two coming on a two-run single to make it 7-4 in the sixth, and Hunter Wolfe homered and drove in three as TCU eliminated Central Connecticut State. Jake Guenther went 3 for 4 with a homer, three runs and two RBI as the Horned Frogs moved on to face Arkansas. Peyton Stephens went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBI, and Buddy Dewaine added three hits, a run and an RBI for CCSU.

Greenville Regional

#1 East Carolina 9, #2 NC State 2 (NCSU eliminated)

Jake Agnos worked eight innings with four hits, two earned runs and nine strikeouts, and battery-mate Jake Washer went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and three RBI as East Carolina eliminated NC State. Alec Burleson contributed two RBI for the Pirates, who moved on to play Quinnipiac. Patrick Bailey and Evan Edwards each hit solo homers for the Wolfpack.

In the second game, Zach Minnick had a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth as Campbell nipped Quinnipiac to advance to the regional final. The Camels (37-19) trailed 5-4 before Collin Wolf and Koby Collins homered in the fifth for a 6-5 advantage. Brian Moskey (3 for 5, 4 RBI) had a two-run single in the top of the eighth as the Bobcats (30-28) took a 7-6 lead. A homer by Matthew Barefoot in the bottom of the frame knotted the score at 7-7. Derek Kasperzyk scored on a wild pitch in the top of the ninth as Quinnipiac took an 8-7 lead. Matthew Christian had an RBI double in the bottom of the ninth as CU tied it at 8-8 before Minnick’s game-winning sac fly.

Jake Washer homered twice and knocked in four as ECU eliminated QU to advance to the regional final against Campbell. Washer had a solo homer in the second and added a two-run shot to cap a four-run third for the Pirates (45-16). He had an RBI groundout in the fifth. Bryson Worrell (2 for 3, 2 R, 3 RBI) and Bryant Packard (2 for 4, 2 RBI) also went deep for ECU. Andre Marrero went 3 for 4 with a double, a run and one RBI, while Kevin Huscher had two hits and two runs for Bobcats (30-29).

Los Angeles Regional

#1 UCLA 6, #3 LMU 1

Chase Strumpf smacked a three-run homer in the third as UCLA topped LMU to force a winner-take-all game on Monday. Michael Toglia (2 for 4) and Jeremy Ydens also went deep for the Bruins (50-9). Nick Nastrini (1-0, 5 IP, 4 H, R, BB, 7 K) earned the victory. Nick Sogard went 1 for 2 with a walk and one RBI for the Lions (34-24).

Ryan Kreidler homered and knocked in three as UCLA eliminated BU. Jake Pries (2 for 3, 3 R, 2 RBI), Michael Toglia (2 for 3, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Noah Cardenas (2 for 4) all went deep for the Bruins (49-9). Cole Haring homered twice and drove in three for the Bears (35-19).

Louisville Regional

#1 Louisville 11, #3 Illinois State 2

Drew Campbell had a sacrifice fly to spark a two-run second and added an RBI single in a six-run eighth as UL topped ISU to force a winner-take-all regional final on Monday. Jake Snider went 3 for 4 with a homer, three runs and three RBI for the Cardinals (46-16). Luke Smith (6-0, 8.1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 7 K) earned the victory. Joe Aeilts tripled and scored for the Redbirds (36-25).

Alex Binelas went 2 for 5 with a double, homer, three runs and four RBI, and Justin Lavey went 3 for 4 with two RBI as Louisville held off Indiana in an elimination game. Tyler Fitzgerald added two hits and two runs as the Cardinals built a 7-1 lead. But Drew Ashley had two hits and two RBI as the Hoosiers (37-23) rallied, including scoring a pair in a crazy ninth inning that saw Louisville closer Michael McAvene ejected for questioning a call by the home plate umpire. Michael Kirian came on to get the final out for the Cardinals.

Lubbock Regional – won by #1 Texas Tech

Cameron Warren went 2 for 3 and ripped a first-inning, three-run homer – his third in the Regional – and Bryce Bonnin yielded only three hits and struck out seven in seven scoreless innings as Texas Tech reached its fourth Super Regional by eliminating Dallas Baptist. The Red Raiders, who have reached Omaha in 2014, 2016 and 2018, also got two scoreless innings with five strikeouts from John McMillon. Bryce Ball and Andres Sosa each had two hits for the Patriots, who were playing in a Regional final for the fifth straight year.

Jimmy Glowenke went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, and Bryce Ball went 2 for 4 with a solo homer and two runs as Dallas Baptist build a 9-2 lead and held on for dear life to eliminate Florida. Austin Langworthy went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Will Dalton went 2 for 4 with a homer, three runs and two RBI for the Gators, but the Patriots advanced to their fifth straight Regional final.

Morgantown Regional – won by #3 Duke

#2 Texas A&M 11, #1 West Virginia 10 (WVU eliminated)

Kyle Gallagher went 3 for 4 with four RBI, including a three-run homer in the first inning, as Duke won the Morgantown Regional by beating Texas A&M. The Blue Devils, who opened the Regional with a win over A&M, are returning to the Super Regionals for the second straight year. Jack Carey (2.1 IP, 1 H) and Matt Dockman (2 IP, 1 H) combined to quiet the Aggies after Bill Chillari allowed one run on seven hits in 4.2 innings. Chandler Jozwiak settled in after the homer in the first and worked 6.2 innings with eight hits and 12 strikeouts for A&M. Bryce Blaum, whose grand slam eliminated West Virginia earlier in the day, went 3 for 4 with a run for the Aggies.

Bryce Blaum belted a 3-2 pitch for a grand slam with two away in the bottom of the ninth as TAMU came from behind to knock off WVU in an elimination game. The Aggies (39-22-1) trailed 9-1 in the seventh before a grand slam by Logan Foster highlighted a six-run seventh as TAMU pulled within two. The Mountaineers (38-22) added an insurance run in the eighth to lead 10-7 before the blast by Blaum. Kevin Brophy went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI for WVU.

Nashville Regional – won by #1 Vanderbilt

#2 Indiana State 10, #4 Ohio State 5 (OSU eliminated)

With VU holding a 2-1 lead, Ty Duvall belted a grand slam in the sixth to eliminate ISU and win the regional crown. Julian Infante went deep twice, while Philip Clarke went 2 for 4 with a triple, a homer, three runs and two RBI for the Commodores (52-10). Mason Hickman (8-0) earned the win by going 7.0 innings with three hits, one run, two walks and nine strikeouts. Roby Enriquez went 2 for 3 with a double and a home run for the Sycamores (43-18).

Clay Dungan had a two-run single to snap a 4-4 tie and highlight a four-run sixth as ISU eliminated OSU. Dungan had three hits, while Joe Boyle went 2 for 2 with a homer, two walks and two runs for the Sycamores (43-17). Conner Pohl went 3 for 5 with a homer and two RBI for the Buckeyes (46-27).

Oklahoma City Regional

#2 UConn 5, #1 Oklahoma State 2

#2 UConn 16, #3 Nebraska 1 (NU eliminated)

Anthony Prato ripped a two-run homer, and four UConn pitchers combined to strike out 17 as the Huskies won their third straight elimination game and forced a deciding game with Oklahoma State Monday. Caleb Wurster tossed three scoreless innings with three hits and four strikeouts, and Jacob Wallace was dominant, striking out all seven of the batters he faced to close out the Cowboys.

Michael Woodworth went 5 for 7 with a double, three runs and three RBI as UConn eliminated Nebraska. The Huskies (38-24) scored single runs in five of the first six innings before plating four in the eighth and seven in the ninth. Colby Dunlop (7-4, 8 IP, 5 H, R, BB, 6 K) earned the win. Angelo Altavilla had two hits and one RBI for the Huskers (32-24).

Oxford Regional – won by #1 Ole Miss

#1 Ole Miss 19, #4 Jacksonville State 4 (JSU eliminated)

#4 Jacksonville State 9, #3 Clemson 2 (CU eliminated)

Thomas Dillard went 3 for 3 with two homers, three runs and seven RBI, and Cole Zabowski added four hits and three runs as Ole Miss claimed the Oxford Regional by eliminating Jacksonville State. The Rebels will travel to Arkansas for their first Super Regional appearance since 2014 – Ole Miss is 3-2 against the Razorbacks this season and won its series in Fayetteville 2-1. Anthony Servideo also homered, drove in two and scored four times for the Rebels. Tre Kirklin had two hits and two RBI for the Gamecocks, who eliminated Clemson earlier in the day.

Tre Kirklin had a three-run homer to cap a four-run second as JSU eliminated Clemson. Isaac Alexander went 2 for 3 with two walks, two runs and two RBI for the Gamecocks (39-22). Bryar Hawkins went 3 for 3 with a double and a run for the Tigers (35-26).

Stanford Regional

#1 Stanford 8, #3 Fresno State 6

Stanford scored in each of the first five innings in downing FSU to force one more game on Monday. Tim Tawa went 3 for 3 with a walk, a double and two runs, while Duke Kinamon had two hits and two RBI for the Cardinal (44-12). McCarthy Tatum (2 for 5) and Zach Presno (1 for 3, 2 R, 3 RBI) both homered for the Bulldogs (40-15-1).

Nick Bellafronto had a three-run homer to cap a seven-run seventh as Stanford stopped SSU in an elimination contest. Alex Williams (8-1, 9 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 8 K) went the distance for the Cardinal (43-12). Matt Smith had a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh for the Hornets (40-25).

Starkville Regional – won by #1 Mississippi State

#1 Mississippi State 5, #2 Miami 2 (UM eliminated)

#2 Miami 18, #3 Central Michigan 3 (CMU eliminated)

Peyton Plumlee allowed two runs over five innings as MSU topped UM to claim the Starkville Regional championship. Plumlee (6-4) scattered five hits, did not walk a batter and struck out three. Cole Gordon worked a hitless ninth to record his 11th save. Jake Mangum had three hits and two runs, while Jordan Westburg went 2 for 4 with one run and two RBI for the Bulldogs (49-13). Raymond Gil (2 for 4) homered for the Hurricanes (41-20).

Alex Toral hit two of Miami’s six homers and went 4 for 5 with four runs and four RBI as the Hurricanes eliminated Central Michigan. Gabe Rivera went 2 for 2 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, Raymond Gill went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI and Adrian Del Castillo homered and drove in three for Miami, which got eight strong innings with three runs and eight strikeouts from Brian Van Belle. Zavier Warren went 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Chippewas.
