Louisiana Tech 4, No. 16 Rice 3 (15 innings)

In Ruston, La., Chase Lunceford delivered a game-winning two-run single in the bottom of the 15t as Louisiana Tech clinched a C-USA series win over Rice. Connor Teykl had a pinch-hit RBI double in the top of the 15th for the Owls (19-9, 32-19). Raphael Gladu went 2 for 3 with a homer and two runs for the Bulldogs (18-11, 36-16). Nate Harris (5-2, 4.2 IP, 3 H, R, 3 BB, 5 K) earned the victory for Tech.

No. 17 Clemson 11, Notre Dame 1

In South Bend, Ind., Clate Schmidt allowed three hits and one earned run in 8.1 innings, and Clemson scored nine times over the final four innings to beat Notre Dame for the second straight day. Reed Rohlman had two hits and three RBI, and Eli White had three hits, three runs and an RBI for the Tigers (15-14, 37-18). Kyle Fiala had two hits for the Fighting Irish (11-16, 27-26).

In Conway, S.C., Anthony Marks went 4 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Coastal Carolina captured a win when Seth Lancaster scored on a wild throw on a sacrifice bunt. Connor Owings also homered for the Chanticleers (20-3, 39-15), who got six strong innings of one-run ball from Bobby Holmes. Anthony Lopez had three hits, two runs and an RBI, and Matt Parrish had two hits and two RBI for the Camels (13-10, 26-26).

Houston 3-4, No. 19 Tulane 2-8 (first game 13 innings)

In Houston, Jose Reyes walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 13th inning as Houston won Game 1 of a doubleheader with Tulane. The Green Wave came back and won the second game as Jake Rogers and Lex Kaplan each had three-run homers. In the first game, Bubba Maxwell tossed 4.2 scoreless innings of relief for the Cougars (11-10, 33-20). Stephen Alemais had two hits and two runs for the Green Wave (13-7, 35-17).

FIU 5, No. 20 Southern Miss 2

In Miami, Eddie Silva and Irving Lopez each had two hits and two runs, and six FIU pitchers combined to limit the potent Southern Miss offense. Jack Schaaf added three hits and a run for FIU (14-15, 27-27). On the mound, Frank Chacon tossed 3.1 innings with a run and four strikeouts to pick up the win. Tim Lynch had three hits and a run, and Dylan Burdeaux had two hits, including a homer, and two runs for the Golden Eagles (20-9, 36-17).

No. 3 Miami at No. 12 Florida State postponed to noon Saturday due to inclement weather.
