In Lexington, Ky., Thomas Dillard and Will Golsan had two-run doubles with two away in a six-run sixth as Ole Miss outscored UK to kick off their SEC series. Grae Kessinger (3 for 4, 2 R) had a two-run homer in the third for the Rebels (3-1, 15-7). James McArthur (1-1, 5.0 IP, R, BB, 4 K) earned the victory, while Dallas Woolfolk recorded the final four outs to pick up his sixth save. T.J. Collette had a pinch-hit grand slam in the eighth for the Wildcats (3-1, 16-7).

BYU 5, Loyola Marymount 3

In Los Angeles, BYU used a four-run second to get past LMU to begin their WCC series. Brock Hale went 3 for 4 with one run and one RBI for the Cougars (1-0, 10-9). Maverik Buffo (3-3, 6.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 4 K) registered the win, while Keaton Cenatiempo (4 H, 2 BB, 3 K) pitched three scoreless frames to record his first save. Jamey Smart went 3 for 4 with a run for the Lions (2-2, 11-10).

Dartmouth 9, Southern Maine 1

In Auburndale, Fla., Kyle Holbrook had two hits and three RBI as Dartmouth downed USM. The Big Green (8-5) scored four in the top of the first to take control. Matt Feinstein (3 for 5) and Trevor Johnson both knocked in two for Dartmouth. Paul McDonough went 1 for 3 with a double for the Huskies (4-3).

Buffalo 5, Sam Houston State 3

In Huntsville, Texas, Alec Tuohy fanned nine in eight innings as UB bounced SHSU to begin their three-game series. Tuohy (4-2) allowed seven hits, three walks and three runs. Logan Harasta pitched a hitless ninth for his third save. Alex Thrower drove in two for the Bulls (5-13). Clayton Harp went 1 for 4 with a double, a run and an RBI for the Bearkats (16-6).

Nebraska 3, Cal Poly 2

In San Luis Obispo, Calif., Luis Alvarado fanned two in a 1-2-3 ninth to earn his second save as Nebraska held off Cal Poly to begin their four-game weekend set. The Huskers (10-9) built a 3-0 lead before the Mustangs (7-13) plated two in the seventh. Jake Meyers went 1 for 3 with two runs for Nebraska. Scott Ogrin went 2 for 3 with a walk and an RBI for Cal Poly.

Hawaii 6, San Jose State 2

In Honolulu, Adam Fogel had three hits and two runs to lead Hawaii past SJSU. Josh Rojas (2 for 3, 2B, R) and Alex Fitchett (1 for 4, 2B) both knocked in two for the Rainbows (12-8). Brendan Hornung (2-2) went the distance for UH, scattering 11 hits with one earned run, no walks and seven strikeouts. Aaron Pleschner went 3 for 4 with a run for the Spartans (9-11).
