In Tallahassee, Fla., John Sansone had a two-run double and Cal Raleigh added a two-run homer in a seven-run seventh as FSU erased a 7-5 deficit in the ACC series opener against Louisville. Sansone and Raleigh both had three hits and three RBI, while Matt Henderson went 4 for 4 with two runs and two RBI for the Seminoles (8-1, 21-7). Devin Hairston went 3 for 5 with a homer and three RBI for the Cardinals (9-4, 23-6).

In Gainesville, Fla., Logan Shore overcame two early runs to pitch into the sixth inning, and JJ Schwarz drove in a pair of runs as Florida took the first game of its SEC series with Mississippi State. The Bulldogs (6-4, 21-9) plated two in the second inning on John Holland’s infield grounder and Ryan Gridley’s single. Schwarz had a two-run single as the Gators (8-2, 29-3) got to Dakota Hudson for five runs in the fifth inning. Hudson’s school-record 34.2 innings without an earned run came to an end in the game. Dalton Guthrie had three hits, a run and an RBI, and Nelson Maldonado had two hits and two runs for the Gators.

In Baton Rouge, La., Alex Lange allowed two runs in 6.1 innings as LSU clinched an SEC series victory over Vanderbilt, giving head coach Paul Mainieri his 1,300th career win. Lange (3-2) surrendered three hits and three walks while striking out nine. Hunter Newman gave up two hits in 2.2 scoreless innings with six strikeouts to record his first save. Antoine Duplantis (2 for 5) had a two-run single to cap a three-run second for the Tigers (6-5, 21-9). Ro Coleman and Bryan Reynolds (2 for 3) went deep for the Commodores (6-5, 24-7).

In College Station, Texas, Brigham Hill and Andrew Vinson combined on a three-hit shutout as Texas A&M blanked Georgia in their SEC series opener. Hill (4-0) worked 6.1 innings with three hits, one walk and eight strikeouts to earn the victory. Vinson allowed one walk and fanned two in 2.2 innings to record his first save. Austin Homan drove in two, while Walker Pennington homered and scored twice for the Aggies (5-5, 23-7). Skyler Weber, LJ Talley and Nick King all had hits for the Bulldogs (4-6, 17-14).

In Columbia, S.C., LT Tolbert homered and drove in three as South Carolina edged Tennessee to begin their SEC series. TJ Hopkins doubled and knocked in a pair for the Gamecocks (8-2, 26-5). South Carolina built a 7-2 lead before the Volunteers (3-7, 18-12) tightened the game with four in the seventh. Clarke Schmidt (7-1, 6 IP, 9 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 10 K) earned the win, while Josh Reagan (2 IP, H, 3 BB) worked through control issues to record his ninth save. Derek Lance had three hits and three RBI, while Jordan Rodgers went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBI for UT.

Kansas 4, No. 8 TCU 3

In Lawrence, Kan., Owen Taylor had a sacrifice fly to cap a two-run eighth and snap a 3-3 tie as Kansas edged TCU to begin their Big 12 series. Devin Foyle went 3 for 4 with two runs, while Joe Moroney homered for the Jayhawks (2-4, 12-16). Cam Warner had three hits, while Evan Skoug went deep for the Horned Frogs (4-3, 22-7).

In Eugene, Ore., Brenden Farney went 4 for 5 with two doubles, a homer, two runs and four RBI as Cal clobbered Oregon to kick off their Pac-12 series. Joe Freiday Jr. had two hits for the Hokies (1-12, 10-21).

In Oxford, Miss., Brady Bramlett struck out 12 in seven shutout innings as Ole Miss to the SEC series opener from Arkansas. Bramlett (5-2) allowed three hits and walked one. The Rebels (4-6, 23-7) scored three in both the second and third to take control. Tate Blackman drove in two, while Cody Bortles had two doubles, two runs and one RBI for Ole Miss. Cullen Gassaway doubled and knocked in a pair for the Razorbacks (4-6, 20-10).

In Boca Raton, Fla., Brett Netzer went 3 for 5 with a homer, three runs and three RBI, and Drew Ober had a triple and three RBI as Charlotte knocked off FAU in Conference USA. The 49ers (4-6, 14-17) scored five runs in the first two innings and added five more in the ninth after the Owls (8-2, 22-5) had closed to 7-5. T.J. Nichting went 4 for 5 with two runs and an RBI, and Logan Sherer added two hits and two RBI for Charlotte. Billy Endris went 3 for 5 with a solo homer and two runs, and Christian Dicks had two hits and two RBI for FAU.

In Durham, N.C., Peter Zyla went 3 for 3 with a run and two RBI as Duke took the ACC series opener against Clemson. Jack Labosky went 1 for 3 with two RBI for the Blue Devils (5-8, 16-14). Duke snap a 3-3 tie with a run in the fifth and added an insurance run in the seventh. Bailey Clark (3-3, 5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 4 K) earned the victory, while Mitch Stallings struck out two in a hitless ninth for his third save. Weston Wilson went 2 for 4 with a triple, two runs and one RBI for the Tigers (7-6, 22-8).

In Charleston, S.C., Shane Bieber tossed a complete game, and Josh Adams had three hits and two RBI as UCSB opened a nonconference series with College of Charleston with a win. JJ Muno had a homer and two RBI for the Gauchos (21-6). Bieber allowed six hits and four earned runs and struck out eight in improving to 6-1. Tommy Richter homered and drove in all four runs for the Cougars (20-10).

Minnesota 8-5, No. 18 Michigan 1-3

In Ann Arbor, Mich., Minnesota used 20 walks to sweep a Big Ten doubleheader at Michigan and clinched a series win. In the opener, The Golden Gophers (4-1, 18-10) expanded a 2-1 lead with three in the seventh and added three in the ninth. Micah Coffey went 3 for 4 with one run and one RBI, while Alex Boxwell drove in a pair for Minnesota. Matt Fiedler (5-2, 6 IP, 6 H, R, BB, 4 K) earned the win, while Tyler Hanson (3 IP, 5 H, 3 K) recorded the save. Ako Thomas had three hits for the Wolverines (3-2, 21-8). In the nightcap, the Gophers used a four-run seventh to complete the sweep. Minnesota had 10 hits and 13 walks, while stranding 18. Fiedler went 2 for 4 with a double, two walks, one run and one RBI for the Gophers. Dalton Sawyer (4-3, 2 H, 2 BB) fanned 10 in six scoreless innings to register the victory. In Lexington, Ky., Zack Brown allowed two runs over seven innings as Kentucky took the SEC series opener with Alabama. Brown (2-5) gave up six hits, walked one and struck out three. Sean Hjelle struck out one in a scoreless ninth for his fifth save. JaVon Shelby had a two-run double in a three-run sixth for the Wildcats (7-3, 21-8). Cobie Vance had two hits and a run for the Crimson Tide (5-5, 18-12).

Texas Tech 5, No. 20 Oklahoma State 1

In Stillwater, Okla., Michael Davis and Trey Ochoa had run-scoring singles in a three-run seventh as Texas Tech topped Oklahoma State in the Big 12 series lid-lifter. Davis finished with two hits and Ochoa drove in a pair for the Red Raiders (9-1, 22-9). Ryan Moseley (3-2, 4.2 IP, H, 3 BB, 4 K) earned the win in relief. Texas Tech won its eighth straight Big 12 game, setting a program record for consecutive conference victories. Donnie Walton went 3 for 5 with a double for the Cowboys (4-3, 19-10).

No. 2 Miami at Notre Dame was postponed on Friday. Teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday.
