In Tallahassee, Fla., Chris Proctor had three hits and three RBI as Duke took the ACC series opener at FSU. The Blue Devils (11-5, 29-7) scored three in the first and added four in the ninth. Adam Laskey (6-2, 6.2 IP, R, 3 BB, 5 K) earned the win, while Ethan DeCaster allowed one hit in 2.1 scoreless innings with two punchouts. Drew Mendoza went 1 for 2 with a walk and a run for the Seminoles (8-8, 24-11).

No. 5 Ole Miss 11, No. 16 Vanderbilt 3

In Nashville, Tenn., Ryan Olenek had four hits and four runs as Ole Miss downed Vandy to kick off their SEC series. Fortes had three hits and three RBI for the Rebels (8-5, 29-6), who took the lead for good with three in the third. Ole Miss scored in each of the final four frames to salt the game away. Austin Martin had three hits and a run for the Commodores (7-6, 20-14).

No. 9 Kentucky 6, No. 18 Georgia 4 (11)

In Athens, Ga., UK scored three in the ninth and an RBI double by Trey Dawson in the 11th helped down UGA in the SEC series opener. Chris Machamer (2-1, 3 IP, H, 5 K) earned the victory for the Wildcats (6-7, 24-10). Keegan McGovern and Adam Sasser both had two-run homers for the Bulldogs (8-5, 24-10).

Notre Dame 12, No. 4 NC State 8

In Raleigh, N.C., Eric Gilgenbach had two homers and scored four as ND rallied to outscore NCSU in the ACC series opener. The Irish (6-10, 15-19) trailed 7-2 after three before scoring six in the fourth, three in the seventh and one in the ninth. Matt Vierling had three hits and three RBI, while Cole Daily and David LaManna both had two hits and two RBI for ND. Josh McLain (4 for 5, 2 RBI) and Brock Deatherage (1 for 4, 3 RBI) both went deep for the Wolfpack (11-5, 26-7).

No. 1 Florida 3, Missouri 1

In Gainesville, Fla., Brady Singer allowed one hit and one run in seven innings, and Wil Dalton had a two-run double in the eighth to snap a 1-1 tie, as UF started its SEC series with a win over Mizzou. Singer walked three and fanned six. Jordan Butler (4-1) gave up one hit and struck out one in the eighth to earn the win. Michael Byrne struck out two in a hitless ninth to earn his ninth save for the Gators (10-3, 30-6). Brett Bond went 1 for 4 with one RBI for the Tigers (6-7, 24-10).

No. 2 Stanford 3, Arizona State 1

In Stanford, Calif., Tristan Beck tossed seven scoreless innings as Stanford took the Pac-12 series opener from ASU. Beck (4-2) allowed five hits and four walks while fanning five. Jack Little (2 IP, 3 H, R, 4 K) notched his 11th save. Nico Hoerner had two hits, including a triple, and one RBI, while Kyle Stowers homered for the Cardinal (7-3 24-4). Spencer Torkelson had two hits and a run for the Sun Devils (6-7, 14-20).

No. 6 Texas Tech 21, Kansas State 4

In Lubbock, Texas, Grant Little homered twice and drove in nine as TTU thumped KSU to begin their Big 12 series. The Red Raiders (6-4, 27-8) scored multiple runs in each of the first five innings in building a 20-0 lead. Brian Klein went 2 for 3 with three walks, six runs and two RBI for TTU. Kyle Barfield had two hits and two RBI for the WIldcats (2-8, 15-19).

Miami (Fla.) 12, No. 7 Clemson 11 (12)

In Clemson, S.C., Miami tied the game with eight runs in the top of the ninth and won it with a run in the 12th in winning the ACC series opener at Clemson. Freddy Zamora (4 for 6, 2 R, 3 RBI) had an RBI single in the 12th for the Hurricanes (8-8, 14-19). Romy Gonzalez (4 for 5, 2 R, 2 RBI) went deep for Miami. Patrick Cromwell (3 for 5, 2 R, 4 RBI) homered twice for the Tigers (10-6, 25-9).

No. 8 Oregon State 17, Missouri State 6

In Springfield, Mo., Trevor Larnach went 3 for 4 with two homers, four runs and four RBI as OSU outscored MSU. The Beavers (25-6) extended a 3-2 lead with six in the fourth. Cadyn Grenier (2 for 3, 3 R, 3 RBI), Tyler Malone (1 for 4, 2 R, 2 RBI) and Andy Armstrong (2 for 3, 3 R, 2 RBI) also went deep for OSU. Luke Heimlich (8-1, 6.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 2 BB) struck out 10 in earning the victory. Drew Millas went 4 for 5 with two doubles, one run and one RBI for the Bears (22-9). OSU led 10-1in Game 2 when play was suspended due to rain in the bottom of the second.

No. 11 East Carolina 15, USF 2

In Greenville, N.C., Bryant Packard and Chandler Jenkins combined to drive in nine out of the leadoff spot as ECU hammered USF to begin their American set. Packard went 3 for 4 with two runs and five RBI, while Jenkins belted a grand slam in the eighth for the Pirates (5-2, 26-7). Garrett Zech had three hits, including a homer, for the Bulls (5-5, 21-13).

No. 13 Indiana 12-6, Northwestern 0-3

In Bloomington, Ind., Jonathan Stiever tossed seven scoreless innings in the opener and IU scored five in the bottom of the eighth in the nightcap in a Big Ten doubleheader sweep over NU. Stiever (4-1) scattered eight hits with one walk and five strikeouts. Matt Lloyd (2 for 2, 2 BB, 4 R, 4 RBI) homered twice for the Hoosiers (5-2, 25-6). Willie Bourbon and Charlie Maxwell both had two hits for the Wildcats (1-10, 9-19). Logan Kaletha went 3 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI for IU in Game 2. Jack Dunn had three hits and scored all three runs for NU.

No. 14 UCLA 16, Utah 3

In Salt Lake City, UCLA scored five in both the fifth and seventh in topping Utah to start their Pac-12 series. Michael Toglia (3 for 5, 2 R) and Chase Strumpf (2 for 3) both knocked in three for the Bruins (9-4, 20-9). Wade Gulden went 3 for 4 with a run for the Utes (4-6, 9-23).

No. 15 Southern Miss 5, FIU 0

In Miami, Fla., Stevie Powers went the distance with 10 strikeouts as Southern Miss blanked FIU to kick off their Conference USA series. Powers (3-1) scattered nine hits and walked one. Gabe Montenegro drove in two, while Matt Wallner homered for the Golden Eagles (9-3, 23-10). Juan Teizeira and Lorenzo Hampton, Jr. both had three hits for the Panthers (6-7, 16-18).

Texas 7, No. 17 Oklahoma 6

In Norman, Okla., UT scored in each of its final four at-bats, including three in the top of the ninth, to rally past OU in the Big 12 series opener. Mason Hibbeler had two hits and two RBI for the Longhorns (10-3, 23-13). Steele Walker went 2 for 3 with a homer, three runs and two RBI for the Sooners (8-2, 25-12).

Virginia 4, No. 19 North Carolina 0

In Charlottesville, Va., Derek Casey and Andrew Abbott combined on the shutout as UVa took the ACC series lid-lifter over UNC. Casey (5-2) scattered seven hits in six innings with two walks and four strikeouts to record the victory. Abbott worked three perfect innings with five punchouts to register his fourth save. Cameron Comer went 2 for 4 with a double and one RBI, while Nate Eikhoff had two hits, including a triple, and a run for the Cavaliers (7-9, 20-14). Ike Freeman went 2 for 4 with a double for the Tar Heels (10-6, 22-12).

No. 20 Texas A&M 9, Alabama 6

In College Station, Texas, TAMU used a five-run second to clinch an SEC series win over Alabama. Michael Helman homered and drove in three for the Aggies (7-7, 26-9). Sam Praytor went 2 for 4 with a dinger and four RBI for the Crimson Tide (5-9, 21-15).

South Carolina at No. 3 Arkansas was postponed due to inclement weather.
