In Atlanta, Jacob Heyward went 3 for 5 with two doubles, a homer, three runs and five RBI as Miami won its ACC series at Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes (16-6, 36-9) blew the game open with five in the fourth and six in the fifth. Randy Batista had four hits, two runs and three RBI for Miami. Matt Gonzalez was 3 for 3 with a homer and three RBI for the Yellow Jackets (1-12, 31-16).

Nebraska 7, Michigan State 4

In East Lansing, Mich., Jake Meyers pitched eight solid innings and went 3 for 4 at the plate with three runs and one RBI as Nebraska won its Big Ten series at MSU. Meyers (4-1) allowed seven hits and three run with no walks and four strikeouts for the Cornhuskers (11-7, 30-17). Chad Luensmann recorded the final three outs for his 11th save. Jordan Zimmerman had two hits, including a homer, and two RBI for the Spartans (11-7, 31-13).

Utah 3, Washington State 2

In Pullman, Wash., John Lapiana fanned six in 8.2 innings as Utah earned a Pac-12 series win at WSU. Lapiana (3-5) allowed five hits and two runs. Dylan Drachler struck out the final batter to record his seventh save. Josh Rose went 2 for 4 with one run and one RBI for the Utes (13-8, 18-24). Weston Hatten homered for the Cougars (8-16, 15-27).

Central Michigan 6, Oakland 3

In Mount Pleasant, Mich., Daniel Jipping drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to snap a 3-3 tie as CMU defeated Oakland. The Chippewas (15-33) added a pair of runs on passed balls later in the seventh. Zach McKinstry went 2 for 3 with two runs and one RBI for CMU. Michael Brettell (2-1, 4 IP, 2 H, UE, BB, 5 K) earned the win in relief. Tyler Pagano went 1 for 3 with a double, a walk, a run and an RBI for the Golden Grizzlies (20-21).

Monmouth 7, Stetson 4

In West Long Branch, N.J., Pete Papcun had a two-run homer to spark a five-run second as Monmouth defeated Stetson. Papcun finished with two hits and three RBI, as did Dan Shea for the Eagles (26-21). Tyler Ksiazek (3-2, 5.1 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 3 BB, 3 K) recorded the victory, while Justin Andrews (2 IP, 2 H, BB, K) earned his fifth save. Austin Hale went 3 for 5 with two doubles, one run and one RBI for the Hatters (24-24), who stranded 13.
