In Greensboro, N.C., Jake Lewis and Austin Parsley combined on the first no-hitter in school history as UNC Greensboro beat Fairfield and later earned a doubleheader sweep. Lewis tossed seven perfect innings before allowing a walk in the eighth inning. He was relieved by Parsley, who retired the final six batters. Pres Cavanaugh secured the no-hitter by singling in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning.

No. 1 Vanderbilt 9, UIC 4 (box score)

In Nashville, Ty Duvall and Parker Noland each had two hits and two RBI, and Austin Martin went 3 for 4 with two runs as Vanderbilt scored nine runs in the first two innings in beating UIC for the second straight day. That was more than enough support for Kumar Rocker (2-0), who allowed two hits and one earned run and struck out 12 in six sterling innings.

In Louisville, Ky., Bobby Miller allowed one earned run and struck out 12, and Tim Borden II had two hits and two RBI as Louisville captured its series with Valparaiso. Ben Metzinger also drove in a pair of runs for the Cardinals (3-3), who scored three runs in the eighth inning for extra breathing room. Kevin Barry went 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Crusaders (1-4).

In Round Rock, Texas, Cole Stillwell went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as TTU topped Stanford. Stillwell went deep in the second and scored in a three-run seventh for the Red Raiders (5-1). Bryce Bonnin (2-0, 5 IP, 4 H, 2 R, BB, 9 K) earned the victory, while Micah Dallas worked four scoreless frames with two hits and six strikeouts to record his second save. Tim Tawa had a two-run homer in the first for the Cardinal (1-5).

In Coral Gables, Fla., Kirby McMullen homered to snap a 2-2 tie and spark a five-run 10th as UF outlasted UM in extra innings for the second straight day. Jud Fabian had an RBI double in the ninth for the Gators (7-0) to force the extra frame. Alex Toral went 2 for 3 with a homer and two RBI for the Hurricanes (4-2).

No. 5 Georgia 5-6, Santa Clara 4-1 (first game 12 innings – Game 1 boxGame 2 box)

In Athens, Ga., Tucker Bradley’s homer in the bottom of the 12th inning gave Georgia a win over Santa Clara in the first game of a doubleheader. Bradley went 3 for 6 in the first game, and Riley King had two hits and two RBI, including a fielder’s choice grounder in the 10th after the Broncos took a 4-3 lead. Travis Howard was terrific in relief for Santa Clara but took the loss with 5.2 innings, two runs (one earned) and seven strikeouts. In the second game, Ben Anderson drove in three runs as Georgia scored all of its runs in the final four innings in completing the sweep. Will Childers (3.1 IP, 1 ER, 5 K), Justin Glover (3.2 IP, 1 H, 3 K, W) and Bradley (2 IP, 1 H, 4 K) combined to stymie the Broncos.

In Tempe, Ariz., Trevor Hauver had a two-run single to cap a four-run sixth as ASU secured a series win over BC. Tyler Thornton (1-0, 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, BB, 5 K) picked up the win, while RJ Dabovich worked two hitless innings with two strikeouts to record his third save for the Sun Devils (4-3). Luke Gold had two hits and two RBI for the Eagles (3-3).

In Fayetteville, Ark., Patrick Wicklander allowed one hit and struck out seven in six scoreless innings as Arkansas topped Gonzaga for the second straight day. Robert Moore went 3 for 3 with a homer, two runs and three RBI for the Razorbacks (6-0). Gonzaga had only two hits and fell to 2-5.

In Starkville, Miss., Josh Hatcher and Brandon Pimentel each drove in two runs as Mississippi State captured its showdown series with Oregon State. Christian MacLeod (2-0) allowed two runs and struck out seven over five innings as the Bulldogs improved to 5-0. Alex McGarry launched a two-run homer for the Beavers (2-4).

UCF 7, No. 10 Auburn 3 (box score)

In Auburn, Ala., Jordan Rathbone went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, and Dalton Wingo added two hits and two RBI as UCF beat Auburn for the second straight day. Trevor Holloway (2-0) allowed one earned run and struck out nine over five innings as the Knights (6-1) built a 7-1 lead after seven innings. Ryan Bliss drove in two runs for the Tigers (5-2).

In Los Angeles, Pat Caulfield had a two-run homer in the fifth and scored twice as UCLA clinched a series win over SMC. Will McInerny also knocked in two for the Bruins (6-0). Gio Diaz went 2 for 4 with one RBI for the Gaels (2-3).

In Port St. Lucie, Fla., Dominic Clementi had a two-run double to cap a four-run first as UM evened its series with UConn. Ted Burton had a three-run homer to cap a seven-run fourth for the Wolverines (4-2). Steve Hajjar (2-0, 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 3 K) registered the win, while Jacob Denner worked four scoreless innings with four hits, one walk and two punchouts to notch his first save. Erik Stock went 2 for 3 with a double and a run for the Huskies (2-3).

In Baton Rouge, La., Landon Marceaux tossed eight scoreless innings as LSU evened its series with EKU. Marceaux (1-0) allowed four hits and fanned six. Devin Fontenot struck out two of the three batters he faced for his second save. Cade Beloso had a double and knocked in three, while Daniel Cabrera homered and drove in a pair for the Tigers (4-3). Logan Thomason had two hits, including a double, and one RBI for the Colonels (4-1).
