TCU 10, No. 2 Vanderbilt 2

In Scottsdale, Ariz., Henry Austin went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI, and Jake Guenther added three RBI as TCU knocked off Vanderbilt. Porter Brown had two hits and two runs, and Johnny Rizer added two hits and two runs as the Horned Frogs (2-1) scored three in the first, twice in the second and once in the third to take a 6-1 lead. Jake Eissler (1-0) worked 5.1 solid innings of relief, allowing three hits and one earned run for TCU. Ethan Paul had two hits and an RBI for the Commodores (2-1).

Connecticut 8, No. 9 Louisville 3

In Lakeland, Fla., Christian Fedko went 2 for 3 with a grand slam, and Chris Winkel went 2 for 4 with a homer, two runs and two RBI as Connecticut won its series with Louisville. Logan Wyatt led the Cardinals with two hits, including a homer, two runs and two RBI as six Huskies pitchers combined to limit Louisville.

No. 1 LSU 17, Air Force 5

In Baton Rouge, La., Antoine Duplantis went 3 for 5 with two runs and three RBI, and Josh Smith went 4 for 4 with two hits and two RBI as LUS routed Air Force. Saul Garza added three hits and two RBI, and Hal Hughes contributed two hits and three runs for the Tigers (3-0). Daniel Jones went 2 for 4 with an RBI for the Falcons (1-2).

No. 3 UCLA 11, St. John’s 1

In Los Angeles, Chase Strumpf had three hits, two runs and two RBI, a two-run homer in a seven-run seventh, as UCLA completed a sweep of St. John’s. Garrett Mitchell added three hits, a run and two RBI, and Jeremy Ydens went 2 for 4 with two runs and an RBI for the Bruins. Jesse Bergin (1-0) yielded two hits and one unearned run and struck out nine in 5.2 innings.

No. 4 Texas Tech 6, Oregon 4

In Lubbock, Texas, Josh Jung went 2 for 4 with two RBI, and Tanner O’Tremba hit a two-run homer as Texas Tech scored twice in the sixth and twice in the seventh to rally past Oregon and claim their weekend series. O’Tremba’s two-run shot tied the game at 4 before Jung’s second RBI single gave the Red Raiders (2-1) the lead in the seventh. Jonny DeLuca and Jakob Goldfarb each had three hits and a run for the Ducks (1-2).

No. 5 Florida 3, Long Beach State 1

In Gainesville, Fla., Jack Leftwich tossed six innings with five hits, one earned run and five strikeouts as Florida completed a weekend sweep of Long Beach State. Brady McConnell went 3 for 4 with a run and an RBI as Dirtbags pitchers limited the Gators (3-0) to six hits. Aidan Malm went 2 for 4 with a solo homer for Long Beach (0-3).

No. 6 Oregon State 13, Minnesota 1

In Surprise, Ariz., Adley Rutschman went 2 for 3 with his second homer in as many days, four runs and four RBI as Oregon State coasted past Minnesota. Tyler Malone and Andy Armstrong each had two hits and two RBI, and Alex McGarry went 2 for 3 with three runs and an RBI as the Beavers (3-0) pulled away with five runs in the fourth and three in each of the sixth and seventh innings. Max Meyer went 2 for 4 with a run for the Golden Gophers (1-2).

No. 7 North Carolina 14, Xavier 3

In Chapel Hill, N.C., Brandon Martorano capped a big weekend by going 1 for 3 with a homer, two runs and three RBI, and Dylan Harris also homered with two RBI and three runs as North Carolina completed a sweep of Xavier. Caleb Roberts added two RBI as the Tar Heels (3-0) scored in all but one inning.  

No. 8 Stanford 6, Pepperdine 1

In Tempe, Ariz., Will Matthiessen allowed one hit and struck out six in four scoreless innings of relief and also doubled in the go-ahead run as Stanford scored five times in the eighth to top Pepperdine. With the game tied at 1, Matthiessen doubled in a run and scored on Austin Kretzschmar singled him in. Christian Robinson (2 for 4) then added an RBI double before Maverick Handley singled in a run and Kyle Stowers added an RBI double for the Cardinal (3-0). Duncan McKinnon drove in the lone run for the Waves (3-1).

No. 10 Florida State 9, Maine 1

In Tallahassee, Fla., Robby Martin drove in three, and J.C. Flowers and Elijah Cabell drove in two apiece as Florida State completed a four-game sweep of Maine. Shane Drohan started and struck out seven and allowed one hit in three scoreless innings before Antonio Velez allowed one earned run in four innings for the Seminoles (4-0). FSU led 2-0 before scoring seven runs in the seventh to pull away.

No. 14 East Carolina 4, Radford 3

In Greenville, N.C., Jake Washer had two hits and two RBI, including an RBI single to left in the bottom of the seventh to break a 3-3 tie, as East Carolina completed a sweep of Radford. Evan Voliva tossed 2.1 innings with one hit and five strikeouts to pick up the win, and Sam Lanier earned his first save with two scoreless innings. David Bryant went 2 for 4 with a run for the Highlanders.

No. 15 Baylor 6, Holy Cross 1

In Waco, Texas, Davion Downey went 2 for 3 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and four Baylor pitchers combined to allow four hits and strike out 11, as the Bears completed a four-game sweep of Holy Cross. Josh Bissonette added two hits, a run and an RBI, and Nick Loftin contributed two hits and a run for Baylor (4-0), which scored three times in the seventh to break from a 2-1 game. Riley Livingston drove in the lone run for the Crusaders (0-4).

No. 16 Arkansas 3, Eastern Illinois 2

In Fayetteville, Ark., Heston Kjerstad delivered a game-winning RBI single to right-center field as Arkansas escaped Eastern Illinois to complete a weekend sweep. Five pitchers, led by Spenser Dexter (4 IP, 3 H, 1 ER) combined to stymie the Razorbacks (3-0), and the Panthers (0-3) tied the game when Jimmy Govern (2 for 4, R) and Hunter Morris plated runs. Jacob Kostyshock tossed five scoreless innings with three hits and three strikeouts for Arkansas.
