In Houston, Dane Acker was brilliant in tossing a no-hitter with one walk and 11 strikeouts, and Justin Mitchell hit a solo homer as Oklahoma edged LSU at Minute Maid Park. AJ Labas was equal to Acker, allowing just that one hit to Mitchell in the eighth inning as both teams were hitless until then. He struck out seven. The no-hitter was the Sooners’ first since Jim Husling in 1989.
Hayden Kettler tossed five scoreless innings, and Davion Downey went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI as Baylor slipped past Arkansas, which got three hits and an RBI from Braydon Webb.
Long Beach State 6, No. 6 Mississippi State 2 (box score)
In Long Beach, Calif., Leonard Jones went 3 for 5 with a homer, two runs and two RBI, and Connor Kokx added two hits, a run and two RBI as Long Beach State won its series with Mississippi State. Luis Ramirez allowed two runs over seven innings to earn the win.

In Gainesville, Fla., Jud Fabian went 2 for 5 with his fifth homer and drove in three as Florida completed a sweep of Troy. Hunter Barco struck out nine and allowed one earned run in five innings for the Gators.
No. 2 Vanderbilt 7, Hawaii 5 (box score)
In Nashville, Isaiah Thomas’ three-run homer in the bottom of the 11th inning gave Vanderbilt a series win over Hawaii. Thomas finished with three hits, two runs and four RBI. Adam Fogel had two hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Rainbows.

In Tallahassee, Fla., Cal Conley hit a two-run homer early, and Cole Stilwell hit a solo shot late as Texas Tech edged Florida State to win both games of their two-game series. Elijah Cabell hit his fifth homer, a three-run shot, to give the Seminoles a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning.
