Morehead State 13, Mississippi State 8
In Starkville, Miss., Reid Leonard went 3 for 5 with five RBI, and Trevor Snyder ad Tyler Niemann delivered big two-run hits in a 10-run ninth inning as Morehead State rallied to beat Mississippi State. Leonard had a bases-loaded walk and a two-run single in the ninth inning, when the Eagles (3-2) took advantage of five walks and a balk. Trailing 8-5, Snyder had a two-run double down the left-field line before Niemann singled up the middle to make it 9-8. Cable Wright allowed two earned runs over the final three innings to post the win for the Eagles. Jacksonville 3, No. 2 Florida 2
In Jacksonville, Fla., Sam Armstrong ripped a two-run double, and Scott Dubrule singled him in with the game-winning run as Jacksonville scored three times in the bottom of the ninth to beat Florida. Dakota Julvlia singled to start the ninth, and Connor Stephens added a single before both moved up to second and third on a wild pitch one out later. Armstrong doubled to left center before Mike Cassala and John Cassala walked to set up Dubrule, who went 3 for 4 on the night. Casey Kulina tossed seven innings with two runs (one earned), five hits and six strikeouts for the Dolphins (3-1). Dalton Guthrie went 2 for 4 with a run for the Gators (3-1).
USF 4, No. 5 Florida State 2
In Tallahassee, Fla., Tyler Dietrich had a sacrifice fly, and David Villar added an RBI single as USF took advantage of four walks and rallied for four runs in the ninth inning to knock off Florida State. Andrew Karp was tremendous for the Seminoles, working out of first-inning jam before retiring 18 straight before leaving in the eighth inning.
New Orleans 11, No. 3 LSU 8
In New Orleans, Owen Magee went 2 for 4 with four RBI, and Orynn Veillon went 3 for 5 with two runs and two RBI as New Orleans rallied from down 6-1 to beat LSU. The Privateers (4-0) scored six times in the fifth inning and added four more runs in the sixth. Bryce Adams and Brennan Breaux each had two hits, including a homer, and two RBI for the Tigers (2-2). Kramer Robertson added three hits and a homer for LSU.
Georgia Tech 10, Georgia Southern 3
In Statesboro, Ga., Kel Johnson went 3 for 5 with three homers and four RBI as Georgia Tech topped Georgia Southern.
