Arizona State still unanimous No. 1 in CBI Composite Poll

Miami climbs to No. 2; Florida State up to No. 3; UNC falls to No. 4

By sitting on top of all four national polls for the second consecutive week, Arizona State remains No. 1 in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Composite Poll.

The Sun Devils went 5-1 in their six home games this past week to raise their record to 22-1. They defeated then-No. 2 Arizona, split two games with Northern Colorado, took a pair from Florida International and finished the week with a win over nationally-ranked UC Irvine.

Miami (Fla.) won its four games last week to improve to 17-2 and move up to the No. 2 spot. Why a composite poll? CBI felt that four national polls was enough. Plus, each week you find discrepancies that make it tough to gauge where a team really is. This week's example: Kentucky is No. 8 in one poll, No. 18 in another.
